My name is Kennedy DuBose. Which is longform for Kendub.
I am the owner, founder, and face of Kendubart. I am a fiber fanatic, professional goof ball, and all around lover of living.
As a kid, I loved making art for its mindful and mindless nature- and I still feel the same as an adult. I started my fiber journey by learning to loom knit on YouTube in 2015 and have been hooked ever since. I am forever amazed I get to do this for a living.
I firmly believe craft is art. I use the word craft to honor the history of the practice, and to try and convince "non-artists" that all art is craft. You learn to craft, just as you learn to make art.
The only pre-requisite to being an artist is the desire to create and choosing to do it (spoiler: everyone is an artist).
